3/24/2007 Charm Making & Culture Taking

Nine children volunteered to spend their Saturday afternoon making charm necklaces for the non-profit organization Performance Plaza of Oldham England whose mission is to make a difference through the power of performance. They do this by providing workshops that are affordable to all.

A total of 47 necklaces were made by the children who participated in this event held at Barclay Woods in Brielle. The children also got to ask the kids of Performance Plaza one question each and can expect a video reply to their questions. As of June 21, 2007 the video is due out in a few more weeks. I'm sure it will be worth the wait! An article about this event was featured in the Oldham Evening Chronicle and can be found by clicking here.
