Make a child in foster care's black garbage bag a thing of the past!

On National Family Volunteer Day Blossom International created 400 Care Packs with the help of community volunteers. We are already planning for Family Volunteer Day in 2008 with a goal of creating 500 Care Packs. Please contact Michele Rodriguez at 732-722-7240 if you are interested in helping!

Blossom International believes that every child deserves a safe and happy childhood environment to grow up in. Unfortunately this does not always happen.

Most children entering the foster care system are taken from their homes on an emergency basis and cannot bring any items with them because of this. Our Care Pack program gives DYFS the ability to give these children some items that they will both need and want. We wish we could give these children more and are working on other programs that will do just that. Nurturing and caring for the world's children ensures a better future for all.
